Apartment developer lands $51M contruction loan after buying Boynton Beach site at 72% discount

5/28/2015 - An affiliate of apartment builder LeCesse Development acquired a repossessed property in Boynton Beach at a 72 percent discount and then secured a $51.21 million construction loan for its project. PNC Bank seized the 4.5-acre site at 101 S. Federal Highway in 2011 after foreclosing on a $17 million mortgage to an affiliate of MCZ/Centrum, which hoped to build a project there called the Arches. 5/28/2015 - Twenty attorneys licensed to practice in Florida — five of them in the Tampa Bay area — have been disciplined by the Florida Supreme Court, according to an announcement this week. The Florida Bar announced the court’s disciplinary actions, which includes three disbarments, four licenses revoked, 12 suspensions and one public reprimand.
