9/2/2014 - A Miami-Dade Commission committee extended the taxis-vs.-Uber debate Tuesday when it delayed passing new rules governing for-hire vehicles. Bruno Barreiro, vice chairman of the Transportation and Aviation Committee, asked to defer the bill until October to allow local taxi drivers to suggest further amendments. Orlando home prices climb 8.2% in July

9/2/2014 - Metro Orlando year-over-year home prices continued on an upward trend in July and prices across the country are forecast to continue to climb, CoreLogic reports. Home prices, including distressed sales, for the Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford area rose 8.2 percent compared to the year-ago period.
