Aviation company hiring 58 in Broward County

10/1/2014 - OSM Aviation’s Fort Lauderdale office announced plans to create 58 jobs. The company provides aircraft crew and crew management services worldwide. It recently made a deal with Finnair to staff its flights from Europe to Hong Kong and Singapore. Since 2013, it has staffed Norwegian Air Shuttle flights. Florida Bar disciplines three Tampa Bay attorneys in latest round

10/1/2014 - Three Tampa Bay area attorneys are among 15 recently disciplined by the Florida Bar. Kelly Earlise Speer, Tampa: Speer is disbarred effective immediately, following a July 31 court order. Admitted to practice in 2006, Speer failed to respond to the Bar's inquiry regarding her arrest in a criminal matter, according to a statement from the Bar. Speer also failed to respond to other inquiries and subpoenas from the Bar regarding client representation, and didn't comply with an April 2013 suspension.…

Disney's Magic Kingdom celebrates 43 years

10/1/2014 - Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom is 43 years old and still going strong as the region's most-visited theme park. Magic Kingdom, which opened on Oct. 1, 1971, welcomed more than 18.5 million people last year, according to the Themed Entertainment Association and Aecom.
